I am an artist living and working in Raleigh, NC. I am a graduate of the East Carolina University School of Art and Design. I have a B.A. in Communication Arts with a focus on Illustration.

I have worked as a Graphic Designer, Illustrator and Marketing Manager for major corporations including Fujitsu and IBM. Projects I’ve worked on include technical manuals, online help systems and corporate ad campaigns and branding strategies. I am currently employed as Web Art Director for Early Design Group in Raleigh, NC and publisher of artsee, a visual arts magazine covering North and South Carolina.

I have an avid interest in classic children’s literature and illustration, particularly middle-grade fantasies such as the Narnia books by C.S. Lewis, the Green Knowe books by L. M. Boston, and the Time quintet by Madeleine L’Engle. Recent favorites include the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling and The Graveyard Book and Coraline by Neil Gaiman.

I have exhibited at several venues in the state, including most recently at the Visual Art Exchange in downtown Raleigh.
